Bio

Casey Frederick was born and raised in Reisterstown, MD and went to Franklin High School. Out of school Casey started working in all kinds of trades, from working on cars to installing premium home theater systems. He ended up starting his own home improvement company while he was cutting his teeth as a singer. Casey started singing as a teen when he found his voice doing karaoke with his friends. He was influenced by Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery and others of the same generation. Casey is an avid outdoorsmen. When he's not on stage or building/fixing something you'll find him fishing, hiking, spending time with his friends and family or writing songs.

Joshua Barley has worked in the car business since he was teenager and started playing guitar at the age of 15. Since then he has been obsessed with the sound of a guitar. Joshua was born and raised in Reisterstown, MD, went to Franklin High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Towson University. Joshua is happily married to his wife Jenny and they currently live in Towson. Josh's hobbies include hiking, playing guitar, studying business and traveling to see his favorite bands in concert. His musical influences range from Hank Williams, Jr. to Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses to Montgomery Gentry and Alabama among others.

Casey and Joshua were buddies in high school and played music at local parties in the beginning just for fun. Things grew more serious in 2012 after Casey and Josh were playing some Garth Brooks songs at a bonfire party and mutual friend said, “I could listen to you guys play all night.” The light bulb went off and they got the ball rolling playing in public. They went out and played open mic nights on the local Ernie Fowler circuit and started building a set list. It didn't take long for them to get their own paid gigs in the Baltimore area. Case & Barley have had the pleasure of opening for:

Their biggest accomplishment so far is winning their hometown radio station's Battle of the Bands. Baltimore's country radio station, WPOC 93.1, awarded them the opportunity to open a sold out premier country music festival at the DC/Baltimore area largest outdoor music venue, Merriweather Post Pavilion.

At this point, the sky is the limit and Case & Barley are not taking it for granted. They have worked very hard for what they have built and will continue to do so for what is yet to come.
